About Us
Who are we?
Graham Uney runs the East Anglia Navigation School.
Graham has over 15 years experience of running outdoor courses in navigation, rock climbing, winter mountaineering, and wild country backpacking.
He holds Mountain Leader Awards in both summer and winter, and has worked extensively in the mountain regions of Britain, including the Scottish Highlands and Islands, the Lake District, the Pennines, Snowdonia, and the Brecon Beacons. Until recently Graham also worked as the Senior Guide with Wilderness Scotland. He has now left Scotland to start up the East Anglia Navigation School from his home in Cambridgeshire.
Graham is a Full Member of the Mountain Leader Training Association, and is an accredited provider of the National Navigation Award Scheme courses.
In addition to running outdoor courses, Graham also works as a writer and photographer (with 15 books to his credit, and a further 5 on the way!). He also works as an occasional ornithological surveyor for the RSPB and the BTO.
